How did he propose?
Tom proposed on Goose Rocks Beach in Kennebunkport Maine. With the help of Abby's sisters, he spelled out "Abby Marry Me?" in shells.
Why did you choose your venue? Is there anything special about the venue, location, etc. that you particularly like?
We chose the Heritage Hotel because we have many friends and family flying in and we wanted a place where we could all be together for the weekend.
In what ways are you most alike?
We both enjoy spending time with our families and grew up spending our summers in Maine (Tom in Ogunquit and Abby in Kennebunkport). We both love ice cream and Reese's.
In what ways are you most different?
Tom is quick to start doing and figuring things out as he goes. I'm one to follow directions. Tom likes to go with the flow. I like to have a plan.
What are your honeymoon plans?
We leave the Monday after the wedding for Hawaii. We are staying on Maui and Kauai. Neither of us have been before.
